Babs and Zoe have known each other for years but it was their mutual love of végé-pâté that brought them together to form Saltspring Harvest. Babs has memories of mixing up huge batches in a bathtub for a Buddhist retreat on Saltspring in the 80’s. For Zoe, it was while studying in Montreal that she discovered végé-pâté, and was surprised how little was available after moving back home to BC. The prospect of working with good friends, making tasty food, and having a little more time to spend with her kids was the kind of opportunity Corinna couldn’t pass up. The result is a handcrafted végé-pâté that will appeal to all generations – savoury, delicious and nourishing.
