Mary Mackay, an acclaimed Artisan Baker and Chef, joined as Head Baker in establishing Terra Breads. Terra Breads has built a strong team of nearly 150 employees – many who have been with us since the beginning.
Seventeen years later they still use the same traditional artisan baking methods that they started with, resulting in flavourful, attractive and nutritious breads, granola and crisps. Many of their ingredients are organic and they are converting ingredients to organic as reliable sources are confirmed.
In 2004, Terra Breads moved into a custom-built production facility where they bake artisan breads, granola, crisps and pastries for sale to specialty markets, grocery stores, restaurants and hotels as well as for their own three retail Bakery/Cafes in Vancouver.
Terra is committed to making its products “from scratch” - no mixes, flavour enhancers or added preservatives.
