The beautiful bright colours of Touchstone gold are a table delight! Touchstone Gold Organic beet seeds have a more vibrant yellow interior and red skin. The strong tops are green with green stems and pale golden petioles, while roots are a vibrant orange, uniformly globe-shaped, and very smooth, making a stunning display on the market table. These beets pickle well, turning the brine a brilliant golden colour. Try some uniform slices sauteed in butter, and add a splash of apple cider vinegar towards the end of the cooking time. Serve as soon as they are tender.
