Blueberries are easily one of nature's most perfect foods. Boosting a variety of health benefits, including cancer and age-fighting antioxidants, blueberries are one of our most favourite fruits. Baked into pies, tarts, sprinkled on ice cream, mixed into fresh yogurt or just eating them on their own, we adore their juicy sweetness.

Features: Organic , Local , Canadian , Vegan/Dairy Free

Storage Tip: Store unwashed and loosely covered, they can last up to 2 weeks. If freezing, make sure they are completely dry first and packaged in a single layer so they freeze solid. Never soak blueberries as it removes their flavor.

Preparation Tip: Great in muffins, scones, and pancakes and desserts. Add them to green salads with nuts and cheese. Because Blueberries are high in pectin, they also make for great jams.

Did you know... Blueberries should have a soft, hazy white coating, which is called “bloom."

Culinary Compatibility: Ginger, lemon, orange, Cointreau, maple syrup, mint and black pepper.

Health Information: With 40 calories per 1/2 cup, blueberries contain small amounts of vitamin C and A.
