New World Organics is manufactured and distributed by Jiva Organics. Jiva has been manufacturing the New World line of products for 10 years now and Jiva has been in business since 1980. It is a local family company that is owned and operated by the Bagga family. Kulwant and Jawahar Bagga are the principle operators of the New World plant, located in downtown Vancouver on Powell St. The Bagga family came over from India in 1974. At that time there was not much available for vegetarians here in North America, although the demand for vegetarian products was increasing steadily. So the brothers began Jiva Organics Manufacturing and distributing Inc. and follwed with the New World product line10 years later. New World makes a myriad of products including salsa, granola, fruit juices and curry pastes. All of the products are manufactured in Vancouver except for the juices, which are made in the Okanagan Valley, near the largest available source of BC organic apples.

New World uses almost entirely organic ingredients and they use absolutely no animal products in any of their manufacturing. They are a 100% Canadian company committed to providing only the finest organic vegetarian products.
