Nature's Way Umcka ColdCare Chewable Tablets - Cherry is made from Pelargonium sidoides roots and has its origins in traditional South African folk medicine. It can help to reduce symptom severity of the common cold and inflammation in the respiratory tract.
Directions:
Adults and Children 13 years and older: 1 tablet 3 times/day
Children 6-12: 1 tablet 2 times/day
Children 3-5: 1 tablet 1 time/day
Chew or dissolve tablets in the mouth. Do not swallow whole. For best results, use at first sign of symptoms and continue to use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms cease.
Cautions:
If you have a liver disorder, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite. If symptoms are severe or are accompanied by high fever and shortness of breath, consult a health care practitioner. Use during pregnancy is not recommended due to lack of clinical data. Some people may experience gastrointestinal discomfort, and in rare cases, some people may experience mild nosebleeds, bleeding gums, hypersensitivity, such as an allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury have been reported. Keep out of reach of children.
