Never heard of SKYR before? You are not alone. This is a product that originated in Iceland centuries ago and although it is very popular on the European market, it is a fairly new product on the American/Canadian market. KYR is super healthy. It is high in protein, high in calcium, fat free and it has tons of probiotics. Even though technically it is a strained, skim-milk cheese, it's taste and texture is much like a very very thick yogurt.

Joe and Caroline Mans absolutely love their cows and give them plenty of room to roam. With an average of 1 cow/acre, the cows love them too, and they produce amazing non-homogenized milk, which is not only bottled but made into the yogurts and cheeses that we love.
