Monastrell, aka Mourvedre in France, is a widely planted variety that doesn't always get the credit deserves. It is commonly used in blends, but single variety examples are great too. It makes a wide range of styles from meaty and dense to fruit forward and medium bodied, like this example. Crafted with sustainabilty and freshness in mind this wine is soft, lively and juicy.
