In April of 2000, Anita's Organic Grain and Flour Mill moved to their current Chilliwack location, which has allowed them to increase their output capacity by over four times using the latest in flow-through technology. They grind everything fresh as it is ordered and their stone mill allows them to control the temperature, the fineness of the grind and the mixing of the flours. The mill grinds slowly, producing little heat which is essential in preserving the nutrients and flavor of the flour. Conventional wheat is ground at a high heat which destroys all of the flavor, texture and aroma.
There are no preservatives or artificial flavorings added to Anita's organic grain products. They are 100% oganic, wholesome and natural.
