Lemon Balm is said to be ruled by the planet Jupiter and Cancer, the Zodiac sign that is bound to water and associated with emotional health. Lemon Balm has long been known to help with emotional distress, be it stress, nervousness or heartache. In Ayurveda, it is also commonly used for digestive support.
Its use in the Middle Ages is noted by herbalists, writers, philosophers, and scientists, with Swiss physician and alchemist, Paracelsus, deeming it the “elixir of life”.

- There are many fun things you do with lemon balm like use them in soaps, relaxing bath mixes and to make your own homemade night time herbal syrup by adding some honey and concentrated tea to it.
- Lemon balm can also be used in a mix with lavender to make bright and vibrant herbal popsicles.
To prepare a Lemon Balm Tonic - Place dry ingredients in a pint-size jar and cover with your preferred wine. Cover tightly and infuse for 2-3 weeks. Make sure to shake daily! Store up to 1 month in the fridge.
