Our Wholewheat Sourdough Loaf is made with 100% organic Canadian flour and a slow fermentation process. It offers a hearty texture and deep, earthy flavor with all the wholesomeness of whole grain. Great for toast, sandwiches, or as a rustic side to your favorite soup or salad.
First time ordering Atome Bakery?
To enjoy our Wholewheat Sourdough, you'll need the Atome Baking Pan to bake the frozen dough. If you're just getting started, be sure to add the pan to your first order!
Baking Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 5000F (preferably convection).
Place the frozen loaf in your Atome Pan lined with a baking sheet.
Close the lid.
Bake for 34-36 minutes.
Remove the lid.
Bake an additional 36 minutes. Adjust to achieve your desired crust.
Pro tip: Let air-cool on a rack for at least 15 minutes before slicing to allow the bake to finish.
