Prairie Mill Bread Co. Is owned and operated by Karen and John Juurlink they have both been involved with the company since inception in 1997. They believe in making a healthy product for our consumers and specialize in pioneer-style breads made from 100 per cent prairie wheat that is milled by the company and mixed with seeds, grains and fruits. In July 2010 they were recognized with the first Alberta Food for Health Awards - a Premier’s Award, which recognizes producers for their work in creating healthy food choices for Albertans.

They use only Natural ingredients in their bread, including 100% Organic Wheat milled daily and no added fat or preservatives, which appeals to health conscious attitudes. Their 100 % Whole Wheat breads are whole grain as they mill wheat that they purchase right from the farmer.

Their proofing process ages the dough so that Prairie Mill bread is guaranteed to stay fresh for seven days.
