Farming the rich soil of the Fraser Valley has been part of Bremner family history since the 1950’s, when Stan Bremner began by harvesting potatoes in Delta. In 1980, with the help of his wife, Caroline, and four sons, he planted his first blueberries on their East Delta farm. Today son Alan manages a commercial blueberry operation that has grown to 80 acres, producing top-quality fruit that is prized for its intensity, full body and rich flavour.
This quality is what prompted Terry to start producing his very own blueberry juice about 10 years ago. As the family also has a local cranberry farm, it only made sense for Terry to then produce Bremner's Premium Cranberry Juice and today Bremner's has 9 flavours in the Bremner's premium family of juice which all have excellent health benefits.
What’s the difference? Bremner Foods uses a juicing process that does not compromise on taste. First they begin by using only premium quality berries from their farms "fresh grade" berries, which are the same as the ones you would eat. In contrast, most juice producers use "juice grade" berries - the berries that you wouldn’t eat because they are too green or too ripe. Second, they add nothing! Bremner's juices are Not from Concentrate and contain, No added water, No added sugar and No preservatives - just 100% premium grade berries. "It really is absolutely the best you can get", says owner Terry Bremner.
Bremner's has made a conscious effort to become more sustainable and are now bottling their our own juice right on one of their farms in Delta, which means by bottling local this has less impact on the environment, and Bremner's has one hundred percent quality control. The Bremner's bottling facility and farm with 5 acres of organic blueberries is Certified Organic and registered with CFIA Est. 388.
Bremner's also gives back to the community by sponsoring many local events such as Earth Day, Prostate Cancer Awareness, plus many others and hosts many events at the farm including our largest event of the year, Summerfest, raising money for the Delta Hospital Auxiliary.
