Sacha-ish is a chili miso style condiment developed in collaboration with Pay Chen, a familiar face and voice on TV and radio stations across Canada, who also writes about food and lifestyle for some of the country's premier publications. Pay is Taiwanese-Canadian, and Sacha-ish is inspired in part by her some of her favourite food memories of hot pot where dipping sauces like sh?cha ji`ng were always a feature at the dinner table.
Expect earthy, salty-sweet, umami packed flavours that will add some depth with a little tangy, spicy twist to whatever you're making! A little goes a long way!
Try it: In stir fries, as a dumpling sauce, mixed into noodles, as a marinade for chicken and meats, and even as a vegan nduja spread on toast on its own or mixed into mayo.
