Barbara's Bakery began in 1971 when 17-year-old Barbara Jaffe opened a small bakery in Northern California. Barbara's delicious, all-natural baked goods were immediately popular and the bakery soon grew to become a thriving wholesale business.

The Jaffe family sold the business in 1986, but the company still remains loyal to the original ideals set forth by Barbara herself.
