Nature’s Path is a fiercely independent, family-owned company that has been committed to organics and sustainability for over 30 years. The company’s roots dig deep in the organic food industry. The founders, who are still involved in Nature’s Path today, opened Canada’s first vegetarian restaurant in Vancouver in 1967; opened Canada’s first natural food supermarket in 1971; started selling Nature’s Path organic cereal in the back of that vegetarian restaurant in 1985; and eventually became one of the very first certified organic cereal producers.
