Holiday Maple Cranberry Sauce

- 3 cups cranberries
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp lemon zest finely grated
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer.
2. Continue cooking for about 10 minutes or until the cranberries are soft, stirring occasionally.
3. Transfer the sauce to a bowl, and let cool. Cover, and refrigerate.
