Missing the bun?
Try using 2 large lettuce leaves to replace the bun. The lettuce will hold all the fun stuff like pickles and tomatoes. You can even experiment with large apple or zucchini slices as buns.

Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 lb. lean ground beef, turkey or chicken
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp garam masala spice mix (or fav spices)
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp coconut oil - for frying
- Small handful of chopped fresh herbs

Directions:
- Mix all the ingredients (except the coconut oil)
- Use the burger mix to make about 4-6 burger patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the coconut oil when hot.
- Cook the burgers, flipping them once or twice until they are cooked through.
- Place the burger, lettuce, tomato, pickles and anything else you like on a plate. Eat everything with a knife and fork... mess free!
