Ingredients:
  • 2 bagels
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
  • Toppings: Maple syrup, flavoured cream cheese, fruit, French vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Directions:

1) Carefully slice bagels in thirds, horizontally.

2) Beat eggs, milk, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a shallow baking dish. Add the bagels, turning to coat evenly; set aside for 30 minutes.

3) To fry, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bagel slices and fry until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
