Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 8 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
- ground pepper
- 6 cloves of garlic, crushed and minced
- 3 slices of yellow onion, chopped
- 4 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 1/2 c water (to start)
- 1/2 tsp ground sage
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 c red wine vinegar
- 6 sliced mushrooms

Directions:
1)In a saucepan heat oil on med-low heat. Add garlic and onion and sauté until tender and translucent. Add flour, yeast and soy to make a paste (roux). Stir constantly.
2)Slowly stir in water. Bring to a boil stirring and allow to thicken. Add pepper, mushrooms, and vinegar.
