Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- ¼ cup flour
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 2 tbsp miso
- 2 tbsp hot water
- ¼ cup garlic shallots, minced
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp salt

Directions:
1)In a small bowl, combine the miso and hot water and mix well. Set aside.
2)In a large saucepan on med/high heat, saute the shallots in oil until translucent.
3)Add the flour and mix well; this will become pasty and dry.
4)Slowly start adding the stock while stirring continually; Add a little bit at a time until everything becomes well mixed and there are no lumps.
5)Stir in the maple syrup and salt. Lower heat to med/low and simmer until the sauce is thickened, stirring often. Remove from heat. Stir in the miso.
