Easy Holiday Stuffing

Ingredients:
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 loaf whole grain bread
- 2-3 cups chopped mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped apples
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 3 fresh garlic cloves, crushed or 1 bulb roasted garlic
- 5-8 tsp fresh thyme
- 1/2 cup onions
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika

Directions:
1)Sauté vegetables, if desired. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except egg. If refrigerating, do so now.
2)When ready to stuff the turkey, add the egg to bowl and mix thoroughly.
3)Remove giblets, etc, from inside and clean turkey. Pat dry and fill caverns with stuffing. Close the opening, season the bird and cook.
