How to Prepare Roasted Garlic

  • 1 bulb (head) of garlic
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1/5-2 inches rosemary
  • 1-2 basil leaves

1)Preheat oven to 375-400 degrees F.
2)Cut top or bottom off of garlic bulb. Place larger portion on aluminum foil, wrap foil up around edges, and drizzle with oil. Top with fresh ground pepper and herbs. Place smaller portion on top as a cap and close foil over top.
3)Bake in muffin tray, small oven-safe bowl, or on a tray for 40-45 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes.
