Honey Garlic Glazed Spiral Ham

Ingredients:
  • 1 small (2-4 lb) spiral cut ham (or other meat, see below)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 large garlic clove (or 2 small ones), crushed
  • 1/2 tsp stoneground mustard (or other strong mustard)
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 dash Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch ground cloves

Directions:

1)Position rack in bottom third of oven and preheat to 275°F.
2)Place ham face down in baking dish with a little bit of liquid and bake, tightly covered, for 12 minutes per pound.
3)Just before the ham's time is done, warm honey slightly to make it easier to mix.
4)Combine all ingredients in a bowl and keep warm.
5)Remove ham from oven and increase heat to 375-400°F. Brush glaze generously over ham then return to oven, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Brush glaze over ham again and cook for about 10 minutes more. Adjust time to depend on desired brownness of glaze.
6)Remove from oven and let mellow for 10 minutes before serving.
