Bringing hummus to a party? Turn it into something special with just a few extra steps.

  • 1 1/2 cup hummus
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp. pine nuts
  • pinch sumac
  • juice from half a lemon

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.

  2. Place hummus in a small ovenproof dish. Top with butter, nuts, and sumac.

  3. Bake for 15 minutes, or until hummus has absorbed most of the butter.

  4. Top with lemon juice and serve.
