- 3 cups butternut squash cooked and mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 tsp cornstarch
- 3 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cardamom
- Coconut whip cream

Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix together maple syrup, cornstarch, cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg.
2. Once mixed, add the water, butternut squash, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until it's well-blended and smooth. It helps to beat as you add ingredients. Add the mixture into the premade crust.
3. Bake for 50 minutes at 350°F or until golden brown. To avoid premature burning, it helps to cover the edges with tin foil, and remove in the last 30 minutes.
4. Let the pie cool and chill in the fridge. Serve with delicious coconut whip cream for a refreshing flavour.
