Turmeric Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cacao
- 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 date
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp water
- For Coating
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp ground black pepper

Directions:
- Put a date, 1 tbsp of liquid coconut oil, 1 tsp of turmeric, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, and water into a blender and blend til smooth.
- Add the blender mixture to a bowl with 1/2 cup cacao and 1/4 cup coconut oil and stir until it is a thick chocolate paste. Give it a little taste, and adjust as needed.
- Place the bowl in the fridge for about 10 minutes so the mixture can solidify a bit for easier rolling.
- On a small plate, mix together 1/2 tsp turmeric with hemp seeds and ground pepper and a little salt to taste.
- On a clean, dry surface, roll tsp portions of the chocolate mixture into balls, and roll the balls in the turmeric hemp seed mixture to coat.
- Store in the fridge until ready to eat
