Veggie Mexi Chili

  • 1 pkg Ultimate Beefless Ground
  • 1/2 med onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 c tomato sauce
  • 1-14 oz can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp oregano leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp basil leaves
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

1)In a bowl, mash the ground round with a fork
2)In a saucepan, sauté the onion and garlic over med heat for 5 min or until onions are soft.
3)Add the tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili powder, oregano, cumin, basil, pepper, and stir.
4)Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 min.
5)Stir in the ground round and heat the entire mixture well before serving.
