Grilled Almond Butter & Jelly Sandwich

  • 2 Tbs Almond Butter
  • 2 Tbs Jelly or Fruit Spread
  • 1 Tbs butter or vegan butter
  • 1 sliced banana (optional)

Heat skillet over medium heat. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Spread almond butter on the unbuttered side of one slice of bread, and jelly on the other. If using bananas, carefully place them over the almond butter. Place one slice, buttered side down on the griddle. Top with the other slice, so that almond butter and jelly are in the middle. Cook for 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown, and heated through.
