- 1/2 tsp.coarse kosher salt
- 1 (12 oz) bag fresh cranberries
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 2 1/4 tsp.finely grated orange peel
1. Bring all ingredients to boil in heavy medium saucepan, stirring often.
2. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until most of cranberries burst, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
3. Transfer sauce to medium bowl.
4. Cool, cover, and refrigerate cranberry sauce.
