Garlic scapes are super seasonal and are only available for a short time, so people tend to get pretty excited when they appear. This hummus recipe is a great way to use the aromatic stalks!

Ingredients:
  • 2 398 ml cans chickpeas
  • 6 garlic scapes, thinly sliced
  • juice and zest of 2 lemons
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend til smooth. Use as a dip for veggies or chips, or spread on a sandwich!
