Directions: |
Crust: Simmer, until tender, all ingredients, adding vanilla when cool. Press into 9” pie pan. Sprinkle with walnuts. Filling: Simmer water, millet and salt until soft, puree with remaining ingredients. Pour onto crust. Topping: Thicken apple juice with cornstarch, add sliced kumquats and bring to boil. Spread over filling. Chill. |
