Trevor Evans, Sundance Organic Farm Online Delivery

Since 1971 Trevor, his wife Debbie and their children, Sheldon and Crystal, have produced organic produce. Their 19 acre farm hosts primarily orchards – home to 14 varieties of apples, including Elstar, Braeburn, Granny Smith, Winesap and Earligold. Trevor and Debbie are major producers of apricots, pears and asian kosui pears, as well as field tomatoes, eggplant, watermelons and green peppers. Their son Sheldon grows specialty hot jalapeno peppers as well.

As a grower and as general manager of a cooperative marketing company (Organics Plus), Trevor has been the inspiration for scores of growers in the area to transit into certified organic production. Organics Plus sells a full range of stone fruit, apples, pears and ground crops across Canada, as well as exporting to the US and Europe.
