This concoction is created by Whistler local and Olympian, Julia Murray. When she retired a couple of years ago, she decided she wanted to share with the world the breakfast that keeps her healthy, energized and completely satisfied.

A convenient, high antioxidant, low glycemic, nutrient dense, high fibre, anti inflammatory, wheat free, vegan breakfast. Complete with superfoods, tastiness, and unique texture. No added weirdness! No added sugar!

Jules Fuel is a highly beneficial one-pot-stop for a week's worth of breakfast. Your body will thank you.


How to Cook It: Throw all of the superfood fuel (YES, all of it) into a pot. Add 2 cups of water. Then crank your stove top to high and bring the goods to a boil, give it one stir then simmer for 10 minutes.

When the timer beeps, shut it all off and find yourself with close to double the amount of Jules Fuel from when you started. Serve it up and enjoy!

At half a cup of cooked Jules Fuel per serving, you will have 6 convenient, ready-to-eat breakfasts for your week. Top each serving to your liking (yogurt, fruit, maple syrup). Once it's cool, just throw it all into a container to store in the fridge for up to 10 days.

It's also great for snacking by the spoonful... and dessert too.

Ingredients

Quinoa: The 'mother grain'. A low-glycemic, complete protein source that contains all 9 essential amino acids that will keep you full longer and your blood sugar balanced.

Goji Berries: The go to berry for a metabolism boost. Chia seeds: These super seeds have an off the chart nutritional profile with three times the amount of antioxidants as blueberries and copious amounts of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
