Malikia - Yeminis Banana Honey Dish

Ingredients:
  • 3-4 very ripe bananas
  • 2-3 flatbreads
  • Sliced almonds
  • Golden raisins
  • Whipped cream
  • Honey
  • Shredded mild cheddar cheese

Directions:

1. In a medium sized bowl, peel and mash the bananas with a fork or mixer.
2. In a food processor or blender, coarsely grind the bread, then add the banana to the mixture and mix until well combined. You want the ratio of bread to banana to be about 50/50, with the mixture being slightly stiff so that you are able to shape it nicely.
3. Use a spoon to scoop the mixture into a serving dish, and smooth it out.
4. Add the raisins, almonds, whipped cream, grated cheddar and honey on top of the banana mixture. Enjoy as is or heat the malikia in the microwave for 30 seconds if desired.
