We started in Vancouver at a time when organic food was harder to find and grocery delivery barely existed. Back then, shopping for better food often meant visiting multiple stores, reading every label twice, and still feeling unsure. Early on, we saw that people wanted something different: cleaner food, thoughtfully chosen, and easier to access.

Long before online grocery shopping became part of everyday life, we built one of Canada's first online grocery delivery services. We began delivering straight to people's doors, starting locally and choosing products carefully, guided by what real households actually needed.

Over the years, Spud has grown and expanded, delivering to a wider community of households across Western Canada. The shop has evolved from a small produce-focused service into a full online grocery store, offering everything from fresh produce and meat to pantry staples, snacks, beauty, home, and pet care.
